Heart disease is the nation's, the state's, and the area's number one killer. Because of this, we know that time is precious when you think you are experiencing a cardiac event. Our area deserves the finest in cardiac care. That is why Hannibal Regional Hospital has made the decision to construct and staff an interventional cardiac facility, the Hannibal Cardiovascular Institute.

The Hospital is constructing a technologically advanced facility capable of the most modern cardiac procedures such as angioplasty and stenting. These steps will allow us to create a service dedicated to providing cardiac care for the residents of our region. This project will be financed by a combination of Hospital dollars, a pre-planned bond issue, and dollars donated by the community.
