Dr. Duplantis completed his undergraduate work at the University of Houston, received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center –San Antonio, TX, completed his internship from Madigan Army MedicalCenter –Tacoma, WA, and finished his residency and cardiology fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center San Antonio, TX. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Duplantis has been practicing cardiology for 27 years. He has been responsible for establishing and initiating cardiovascular programs in Jonesboro, AK and Paris, TX.
Richard Valuck, MD

Dr. Valuck earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Well known to all members of the Hannibal Regional Hospital Medical Staff, Dr. Valuck has practiced Internal Medicine and Cardiology in Hannibal since 1990.

Dr. Alvi completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Michael Reese Hospital both in Chicago, IL. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Diseases.
Mark Shima, MD, FACC, FACP

Soon to join the medical staff from Quincy, IL is Dr. Shima. He completed his residency and fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease.
